Although applying these stencils is relatively straightforward, they can pose challenges when used on highly angled surfaces. Currently, we are utilizing them on hand guards, which present a harder painting task.

These stencils are compatible with various painting methods including airbrush, spray tools, gun coatings, Duracoat, Cerakote, and other spray paints.

Tips for Angled Surfaces

When using the stencils on corners, it’s recommended to employ larger stickers, allowing half of each sticker to rest on adjacent planes. If certain elements of the design overlap a corner, they may not adhere properly. In such cases, utilizing scissors to trim any stubborn excess can be helpful.

• Scissors: Perfect for trimming any unwanted excess from the stencil.

Steps for Stenciling

1. Basecoat: Begin by applying a solid camouflage paint as the basecoat for your project.
2. Clean the Surface: Ensure the project surface is free of dust or paint residue. It's crucial to have clean hands and avoid touching the adhesive side when applying the stencils.
3. Apply Stencils: Place the stickers on your project. Using a sharp tool like an Exacto knife or a razor blade will facilitate easier application and removal of the stencils.
4. Painting: Once the stencils are firmly in place, paint directly onto the object. It’s best to avoid spraying from awkward angles.
5. Drying: After applying paint, allow the project to dry completely before removing the stencil stickers.
